As the storage array to which it's connected has increased from 5Tb to 50Tb, transfer and backup times have become an issue. So after a bit of homework, I decided to upgrade to the Sonnet Tempo Pro 6Gb ExpressCard/34 (from my primary OWC source, of course) and, much to my disappointment, I'd overlooked that my storage array does indeed require support for Port Multiplier - which this card does not support on my Mac-based editing suite. If your storage array doesn't require Port Multiplier, I'd enthusiastically recommend this card for anyone seeking quality, reliable and trouble-free throughput. However, beware it does NOT support Port Multiplier on a Mac but does on a Windows PC.
